Flower Festival at Beverston - 5th May - 7th May

North Wilts villages flower club are holding a Flower Festival in St Mary's Church, Beverston near Tetbury. Join the choir during their Hymnathon on Saturday 5th 2.30-4pm with teas available in the Old Rectory Garden. Proceeds to "Help for Heroes" and the Church Fabric Fund.

Live Music @ The Priory Inn, Tetbury - 6th May

Harry Jones is a young singer from Tetbury who is self-taught with a great acoustic sound that leaves you wanting to hear more. Raw and edgey, he will play a variety of music with some well known and less well known covers as well as a selection of his own songs. Starts at 8pm. Free entry

National Garden Scheme - Hodges Barn - 13th May - 14th May

Hodges Barn, Shipton Moyne near Tetbury is a very unusual C15 dovecote converted into a home. Roses, clematis and hydrangeas together with yew hedges, create formality around the house.  Mixed shrub and herbaceous borders, water garden and woodland garden to side of house.Wheelchair access to part of garden, dogs on leads allowed. Open 2pm-6pm, Adm £5, Child Free.  

 

National Garden Scheme - Old Rectory - 13th May

The Old Rectory, Avening near Tetbury has a 3 acre garden with sculptures around C17 Cotswold Rectory (not open). Mature woodland, paddock with stream and Japanese bridge. Italianate terrace with steep banks and steps in places, shady planting, mixed borders and wild garden. Limited wheelchair access, dogs on leads allowed, plants for sale and refreshments available. Summer Concert @ Westonbirt School - 18th May

A Musical Extravaganza not to be missed!  The musicians and ensembles of Wesonbirt School come together to celebrate the musical achievements of the year, performing a rich programme of music embracing a variety of musical styles: from classical to jazz, pop to world music, orchestral to choral, solo to ensemble work.  7:30pm, Westonbirt School, Tetbury GL8 8QG.  Admission Free.  Tel: 01666 880333.

Gala Night with The Dolphins Dramatic Society - 24th May

At The Close Hotel Tetbury. Held in the Market Hall, Tetbury Thai sculptured paintings speak works of good fortune also sayings of the Buddha. 10am - 4pm, a donation to the Bangkok flood victims will be made on sales.

 

The Big Jubilee Picnic, Westonbirt School, Tetbury - 26th May
